Martial Arts for all ages!

The beauty of the martial arts is that it can be tailored for any age. In fact most of the worlds highly accomplished masters trained well into their 60's, 70's and even 80's!

They have learned how to modify their training to accomodate thier own physical limitations that comes as part of the natural aging process.

About our style

We teach classical Okinawan karate. For this program we will teach you traditional (low impact) movements and techniques right from the masters in Okinawa. This program will improve your focus, enhance your coordination, flexibility, strength and endurance.

This beautful art comes by way of the teachings of Taika Seiyu Oyata, master of classical Okinawan karate who trained into his 80's.

According to Britannica, the island group of Okinawa in Japan has the highest life expectancy in the world. The average life expectancy for Okinawan women is 87.44 years, which is almost 10 years longer than the average.
